Sue Spencer Moses Sue in action. Biographic Highlights Sue Spencer Moses has dedicated 36 years to training and coaching ski instructors and helping recreational skiers enjoy the sport. Sue’s passion for teaching and her vast knowledge and skill as an educator and skier have earned her reputation as one of the nation’s outstanding clinicians and coaches. She has a special interest in teaching and coaching women and has done this extensively over the past decade. Sue is the former PSIA-E Executive Director, having moved to that position after 11 years as Director of Education & Programs. During her tenure at PSIA-E, she helped grow the membership from 4,500 to 11,000, the programs from 35 to over 400, and the field staff from 30 to almost 200. Sue served 6 terms on the National PSIA Steering Committee. She was a two-time selector for the PSIA National Alpine Demonstration Team. She represented PSIA and the United States at the International Ski Instructors Course in Kaprun, Austria. Sue also was a US representative at Interski. Prior to her work with PSIA-E, Sue was a Human Resources Consultant with Aetna Life & Casualty in Hartford, CT. Prior to that, she served ten years as Assistant Professor in the athletic department at Hamilton College. During that time she coached several championship field hockey and lacrosse teams. Earlier she served as Director of Women’s Athletics at Utica College, NY. Sue holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Science degree in physical education from Syracuse University.
