Todd began ski teaching in 1986 at Blandford Ski Area, in western MA. Hungry for more experience (and elevation) he migrated to southern / central VT, where he spent the next several years teaching and training at Okemo and Mt. Snow. Re-introduced to racing in the early 90's, he began combining the best elements of technical understanding and effective performance coaching. Ongoing education is an important ingredient for development of new material - Todd works each year to stay current with USSA, PSIA and CSIA/CSCF developments. His background in computers and engineering have led to an interest in advanced video analysis tools for ski training, and a fascination with ski construction and tuning.

In the mid-90's, Todd returned to Western MA to serve as Technical Director, and Director of Instruction at Blandford. He has been a PSIA Race Series coach since 1997. He currently serves a variety of schools, clubs, and ski organizations on a freelance consulting basis, providing coaching and program development services.

In his free time, he can often be found skiing in 'unconventional ways and places' with his two sons.
